I and my partner are always arguing. How can I stop it?

If you and your partner are always at each other's throat's and keep fighting over nothing then there is a big problem.

The major issue is that both of you don't want to bow down to each other so you keep touching horns but the major thing those of us in a relationship should understand is that two wrongs came not make a right. One of you has to bend over in a relationship. I shall share here a few tips on how to stop arguing in a relationship.

1. Don't let reconciliation pass till the next day-why? Because you might eventually reconcile but there will still be a bit of lingering animosity between you. Resolving the issue right there ends all animosity

2. Own up to your wrongs: if you know you did something wrong, confess it to your partner. Don't try to exonerate yourself from blame. If you do, you are just indirectly blaming your partner and that doesn't help.

3. Always have skin contact: if you are feeling like nothing else can be done, just hold each other. That way, you are connecting on an emotional level

4. Don't forget the good times: when people are fighting with each other, they always seem to forget the love they once shared or the good things they did for one another. The only thing they can remember at that moment is how terrible the other person is. That is a big problem people experience in a relationship. If they can overcome that then everything is fine.

5. Find a time to talk about the problems you are facing as a couple: No one can read your mind. Therefore, how will they know your problem if you don't say it. Don't keep things in. Always say when you are bothered about something

6. Crack jokes: Sometimes, saying a joke in the moment of crises can lighten things up or just make things up but just generally have a sense if humor

If all else fails, seek therapy as soon as possible.



On the contrary, Arguing is different from fighting. Due to research, it has been discovered that couples who argue have a more healthy relationship because they speak our their mind and don't keep things inside which eventually leads to argument but it leads to fighting when the argument get out of control so try not to let your argument get out of control or there will be serious consequences for your relationship.
