According to the teenage actress, season 3 is the summer of love. She revealed that there would be more romance between her character El and Finn Wolfhard's character Mike. The two teenagers kissed after the end of season 2 at a school dance. She also revealed that El's style will have an upgrade after season 2.

New characters and new settings will also be introduced in the new season. The duffer brithers revealed that they will take a lot of risks in the next season
