Dwayne Johnson set to play titular role of Hawaiian conqueror Kamehameha in new movie


The actor and former wrestler is going to play the role of Hawaiian conqueror Kamehameha in a new movie titled the King. The movie will tell the real life story of the great king who united the hostile Hawaian islands to create the present powerful state of today.

Johnson had always hinted on playing the character ever since he began his acting career in 2001. The movie will be directed by award winning director Robert Zemericks.
